Location: Birmingham (2 Days On-Site Per Week)
Salary: £55,000 - £66,000
Network IT are seeking an experienced Data Architect to join a dynamic IT Services team within a prestigious organization. This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly skilled professional to lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of modern data architectures that support digital transformation initiatives.
Role Overview:
As a Data Architect, you will provide strategic leadership and technical expertise in designing scalable, secure, and efficient data infrastructures. Working closely with key stakeholders, you will play a pivotal role in enabling data-driven decision-making and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement modern data architectures using cloud and on-premise solutions.
  • Lead the implementation of cloud-based data warehousing and analytics solutions.
  • Develop and maintain data models, databases, and ETL/ELT pipelines.
  • Utilize industry-leading data processing tools for optimized performance.
  • Establish data governance frameworks to ensure quality, integrity, and compliance.
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to enforce data security best practices.
  • Partner with stakeholders to align data strategies with business objectives.
  • Provide training and mentorship to cross-functional teams on data architecture and tools.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Proven experience as a Data Architect.
  • Expertise in cloud-based data architectures (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud).
  • Hands-on experience with modern data warehousing and transformation tool, Snowflake.
  • Strong knowledge of data modelling, warehousing, and real-time analytics.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, Java, or similar programming languages.
  • Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop) and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Desirable: Experience in research-driven or complex data environments, AI-driven analytics, and relevant cloud certifications.
